Sesshin is an intensive meditation retreat conducted
in deep silence. This traditional Zen practice is an important
aspect of Zen training. The retreat includes intensive meditation,
services, oriyoki meals, samu work practice, dharma talks and
the practice of immediacy. Joshin Sensei is available serveral
times a day for private daisan interviews with participants.

done without the normal services or chanting. Much of the traditional
ritual of a Zen retreat is dispensed with. As a result more time
for meditation is allowed. Joshin Sensei will still give a dharma
talk once a day and see participants in daisan several times
a day.

Thursday evening and ends Sunday at noon.

Part-time participation is possible for $75/day.
